A wraparound patio and snail-decorated walls liven up this cheery, colorful cottage, one of St. Maarten's friendliest and most venerable restaurants. Of course, snails are the specialty, but if you're not sure how you like them prepared, ask owners Jöel and Sonya for an escargot sampler appetizer. Or try one of the many lobster, shrimp, duck, or melt-in-your-mouth steak dishes. The rack of lamb is Sonya's favorite.
